[Photo|Ali Hassan Joho]Opposition's NASA coalition convened the 2nd regional People’s Assembly coast chapter at Uhuru Gardens, followed by a public rally at the Volleyball grounds, in Changamwe constituency on Saturday.Led by NASA leaders, Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka, the leaders got the opportunity to explain to their supporters why Odinga should be sworn-in on January 30.Host Governor Ali Hassan Joho explained why secession remains the only solution in what he termed as an unjust and inequitable Kenya. "Kenya is at a defining moment. We can choose to stand by as Kenya is led down the path of unfairness and falsehood or we can stand up for the truth and electoral justice. Let this be the time, that we stood up to be counted," said Joho citing Article 1 and 2 of the constitution which rests sovereignty with the people of Kenya. He maintained that there will no turning back for NASA after alleged rigged elections in August 8, 2017 and controversial fresh presidential election on October 26.Addressing supporters, Joho said NASA will listen to nobody once the swearing-in is conducted and that the journey to Canaan had just started.
