[Photo|National Police Service]The Inspector General of the National Police Service Joseph Boinnet joined the Turkana and Pokot communities in commemorating 3 years of peaceful coexistence.The Friday ceremony was held at Sarmach in Sigor Constituency, West Pokot County. The event brought together political and religious leaders as well as reformed warriors from the two communities.He applauded the two communities as well as their peace committees for their sustained peace efforts and for promoting sharing of resources for development and prosperity. Boinnet also appealed to other communities in similar circumstances in other parts of the country to emulate their excellent example.
