Former Kitui Senator David Musila has advised Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch the NASA coalition.Musila said Kalonzo’s destiny is not in the opposition and that the sooner he realises it the better for him.The former senator who unsuccessfully contested for the Kitui governor seat in the August general election said Kalonzo has been cheated and used by the opposition.He said Kalonzo has been clinging to the opposition since 2013 with nothing to show for.“My advice to Kalonzo Musyoka is for him to realise that he has no political future after NASA transformed itself to a National Resistance Movement,” said Musila while addressing journalists on Thursday.Musila said Kalonzo can salvage his political career only if he abandons the opposition.The former senator claimed that opposition leader Raila Odinga has turned Kalonzo into a flower girl.Calls on Kalonzo to ditch the opposition have intensified with several Kamba politicians appealing to him to abandon the opposition.On Thursday, Kitui South MP Rachel Kaki Nyamai said that Kalonzo is wasting time in opposition.Nyamai said Kalonzo’s political future hangs in the balance after NASA transformed into a National Resistance Movement.Kalonzo has been missing in opposition rallies in the run-up to the Thursday repeat presidential poll.The former Vice president flew out of the country a day after NASA leader Raila Odinga withdrew from the repeat presidential poll to attend to a family matter.
