Former Taita Taveta Woman Representative Joyce Lay has advised NASA deputy leader Kalonzo Musyoka to quit the opposition.Lay who unsuccessfully contested for the Taita Taveta senatorial seat in the August 8 general election told Kalonzo to stop wasting time in NASA.The former Woman Rep who dumped ODM for Jubilee early this year said that Kalonzo will never progress politically if he remains in NASA.Speaking to journalists after leading door to door campaigns for UhuRuto’s re-election in Voi on Thursday, Lay said the former Vice President’s (VP) hope of being president will remain a dream if he keeps supporting NASA leader Raila Odinga.Lay urged Kalonzo to cross over to Jubilee noting that he will not regret the move.“Kalonzo should wake up and realize that he is wasting time being in NASA,” said Lay.She argued that NASA has no chance of ascending to power in repeat presidential election, adding that the Raila-led outfit has run out of ideas and is now using political threats to remain relevant.Lay further rubbished Raila’s withdrawal from the presidential repeat poll terming it a sign of fear.She said the repeat election will be held as planned, adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta will win with a landslide.She welcomed Coast politicians who recently defected from the opposition to Jubilee, saying they made a right decision.
