UREMBO celebrates a woman's character as what is truly beautiful in a woman, and inspired by the need to talk to women directly about what beauty is perceived as by both men and women.

Speaking about the song and video, Calvo said, “I involved all these powerful and beautiful women in this project with the aim of speaking to a girl out there who has been poisoned by the world around her to believe that beauty can only be one-sided - urembo ni wewe!”

Josh of Amos & Josh, added, "Sidhani kuna anywhere in the world pahali kuna warembo kama my country Kenya. This goes out to every lady hustling crazy and making something out of life, especially single moms - urembo ni wewe!” Amos concluded, “Inner beauty never fades, it's priceless. Uki build ya ndani, nje haiwezi fichika."

Among the ladies are renowned Kenyan radio and TV presenters: Adelle Onyango, Mwalimu Racheal, Kalekye Mumo, Nderaisho Mshila, Shiko Kaittany and musicians: Sage, Phy Ng'etich, Ashley Diva, Kambua, Olive Kerman and Miss Tee. Blogger Eve Mathenge also makes a cameo.

The video of the song directed by Odibz for Team Mistari Production, features cameos from different women of shape, colour, height and looks.
