Politicians in Nakuru county are yet to comply with an IEBC order to pull down their campaign billboards, posters and banners after the election.

IEBC issued the order to politicians last week Tuesday to remove the campaign materials within 7 days.

Major streets in Nakuru are still littered with posters belonging to gubernatorial, woman representative, senatorial, parliamentary and ward representative candidates in the polls.

In Nakuru town, posters are fastened on the poles and walls along the streets, for instance posters for  the gubernatorial candidates Peter Koros of Chama Cha Mashinani party and Paul Njoroge of KANU have not been pulled down.

Koros and Njoroge's posters are plastered on poles and walls along Kenyatta Avenue and other streets in the town

Only few campaign billboards, posters and banners have been pulled down.

“Only a few candidates have removed their posters. Majority are yet to do so," a resident John Kioko said.
