Campaigns have hit climax at Moi University, Town Campus, with just one day to go to the ballot.
The student leaders elections will be held on Friday, April 8.
The campaigns intensified last week, with different aspirants selling their manifestos to students at the University.
Some aspirants and their supporters took to the streets of Eldoret Town, paralysing transport activities along Uganda Road while campaigning.
The posts being contested are; MUSO chairperson, Vice-Chair, Secretary General, Health Director among others.
The students interviewed said they expect free and fair elections come Friday.
“We trust that the elections will be free and fair, that the candidates with the highest number of votes will be declared winners,” Jackson Korir, a student, said.
The secretary of the school electoral board Aron Kipkurui said all is set for Friday, and it is now upon the students to exercise their right.
“Everything is in place, the ballot boxes and ballot papers are ready. We are only waiting to conduct elections which I know will be free and fair. We expect all the students to vote,” he said.
