It has now been confirmed that the parcel left outside the Canadian High Commission on Thursday morning is harmless.
The parcel had been left outside the commission prompting people to believe it was a bomb.
The Bomb Disposal Unit was deployed to the site of the incident earlier on.
Gigiri OCPD, Vitalis Otieno said the parcel was harmless as bomb experts found it contained official documents and visas.
The occupants of the building had been asked to evacuate the building while police carried out investigations on the matter.
