Mutoko observed that ODM's celebrations in Mombasa, which were held concurrently with Jubilee's Kasarani event, was clearly a move by the Opposition to counter Jubilee.

The renowned radio presenter told team Raila that the move was not smart, instead, they should have responded in a different fashion.

“I say this in due respect to everybody who worked crazily hard with ODM to try to just nullify the effect of that Jubilee convention because that is what it was - you are allowed to respond, never to react," said Mutoko.

"When you react, it's what happens when you hear either a tyre burst or a gun shot. You scatter. That is a reaction! Response, is what you do when you are told, when you see and then you methodically decide what you do thereafter," she added.

Mutoko added:  "Reacting is for rats, fear, for scuttling and doing unthought-through things".

She advised political candidates to ensure that those who work for them know that they always want a good, bold response that will leave a great impact.

Mutoko further directed Mr Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and William Ruto to stop preaching hope to voters as it is not a strategy.

“Hope is not strategy someone has to give you something working,” she said.
