Barely a week after Kiambu hopeful governor David Kariuki Ngari’s academic qualification scandal hit the media, Kiambu county governor William Kabogo has dismissed claims he was behind the investigative report.

He told Gakuyo to refrain from associating him with unproven assertions calling on him to come clear and show his academic qualifications.

“What is strange is that Bishop Gakuyo seems to now think it’s me who revealed his academic failures because he says one politician is scared of their union; they have united against me and so am the politician he is referring to,” noted Kabogo.

Kabogo told Gakuyo to carry his own cross warning him not to redirect the issues he has with other people to him.

“Why do you want to make it a political matter? The thing I saw on papers is that he was deregistered as a student of JKUAT because he did not provide his form four certificate and so whatever he is yapping….he should be saying what happened to his certificate,” said Kabogo.

As if the shocking revelations were enough damage to the business mogul, Kabogo said that Gakuyo had only provided a standard seven certificate dated 1983 from Munyu Primary School.

The county boss who spoke from Thika sub county headquarters said that he was not scared of the merger that Ferdinand Waititu, David Ngari, James Nyoro, Acquiline Njoki and John Mugwe had formed.
