This is after the mother of the kids, Ebby Osaji who had taken to the stand as a witness in the case that kicked off its hearing after several months of adjournments broke down in tears while testifying.

Ebby broke down in tears on several occasions as she recounted the last moments of her sons before they disappeared on a fateful day, May 13, 2017.

She, however, could not proceed with giving her testimony forcing the court to adjourn.

Earlier, three other witnesses had taken to the stand in the hearing of the case before Eldoret High Court Judge Stephen Githinji.

First to take to the stand was Edwin Olibe, a jua kali artisan who told the court that he saw Enock with the three children in Eldoret town on the day they were reported missing.

Ivy Kemunto, a class four pupil was second to testify and recounted how she had gone to accompany the three children to church but found they were not ready and when she decided to go to church alone, she saw Enock sitting on a stone near the children’s home.

The father of the three children James Ratemo also testified.

The hearing will resume on June 27th.

In the case, Enock, uncle to the children is being accused of killing them.

The three Clifford, Dan, and Glen were reported missing on May 13, 2017, on their way to a nearby Eldovil SDA church in Kapsoya estate before their bodies were found floating on River Nzoia in Moisbridge about two weeks later.
