According to a letter undersigned by the Gitobu Imanyara & Co Advocates sent to the Ministry of Health and the Pharmacy Board, laboratory test reports by AgriQ Quest Laboratory Limited which is a client to Imanyara Advocates, are said to have doctored on advice from the government.
‘'Owing to the much shocking findings of dire contamination of the Measles vaccines, our client was orally directed to alter the report findings to indicate that they were very safe to be administered. When the laboratory agency cited professionalism and the impacts that any alteration of the findings would have, they were threatened that they would not get their payments unless they altered the said report,” read part of the letter.
According to 'Kenyans Online', the laboratory company declined to alter the contents of the report which the Poisons and Pharmacy Board informed them that they would not receive their earlier quoted dues of Sh5.7 million but only Sh600,000.
The revelations come at the wake of time when the Catholic Church protested the vaccination campaigning citing contamination.
