Catholic church leaders have praised President Uhuru Kenyatta for heeding their advice on IEBC reforms.
The bishops said that Uhuru had heeded their advice after they met and had a discussion at State House.
The talks had been led by John Cardinal Njue and Reverend Philip Anyolo who is chairman of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops.
They also said the president had improved the country’s infrastructure distributed laptops to school children.
"We are also happy that the government has maintained a peaceful and conducive environment for investors, business people, visitors and the general public," they said.
"The action demonstrated a genuine concern for the lives of Kenyans," they added.
