National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale on Saturday highlighted their presence by naming them.

Some of the MPs who were in attendance included Karachuonyo MP James Rege, Ford Kenya chairman and Turkana Senator John Munyes, Ken Obura, Zainab Chidzuga, Gideon Mung'aro, Mustafa Idi, John Walukhe, Ahmed Abass, John Munuve, Joe Mutambu and Mathare MP Stephen Kariuki (ODM).

The Cord fraternity who held a parallel rally in Kibera have not said anything about those MPs showing up at the Thanksgiving rally in Nakuru.

The presence of the legislators is a point of concern for the Cord family and comes in the wake of alleged misunderstandings involving the three principals; Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula over the pre-2013 elections MoU.

It is left to be seen how this interesting development will be handled.
