Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) is a national party and should not be taken to be a Kipsigis outfit out to divide the larger Kalenjin community, Bomet governor Isaac Ruto has said.
Ruto said CCM is a national party and will field candidates for MCA, MP, Woman Representative, Senator and Governor in most counties in Rift Valley and Northern Kenya.
“We have members from all ethnic communities and we have opened offices in more than 30 counties,” he said.
The CCM party leader urged the Kalenjin to consider joining other parties without focusing on JP only.
Ruto expressed confidence he will recapture his seat.
