Contractors carrying out project initiated by Bonchari Constituency development fund risk being blacklisted after the committee realised many of the projects are not been completed on time.
According to the committee chairperson, Samson Otianyo most projects in Bonchari Constituency have stalled despite the fact that the contractors have been given funds for the same.
Speaking when they were touring various projects that have been initiated by the CDF in Kisii South sub-county the official expressed his disappointment with the contractors and said they will take action in a few days time.
“The contractors have been paid their dues but the only frustrating thing is that most of the projects are not even half way complete,” he added.
He added that they will have a meeting to summon all the contractors and probably set new ending dates or terminate the contract they had given them.
“We see time is rushing and the money we allocated has not been utilised and that is why we won’t tolerate any lazy contractor in our project,” he added.
