This is part of the consented efforts from the Kisii County, The Bursary Allocation Board and That of the CDF responsible for fees allocations to students in the county, needy students in secondary school and those in higher learning institutions are benefitting fairly.

Speaking in Mobamba Secondary school during the School's Prize giving Day, the Kisii county Governor James Ongwae remarked the significance of every student getting a justifiable access to the fund that is otherwise meant to reach needy and orphaned students from within the county.

Ongwae regretted the fact that some students have been allocated this fund in more than once hence; benefitting from both CDF and County bursaries, this has caused deserving students to lack fees.

"The bursary is for everyone and is here for the needy and poor so we will be listing those who benefit so as to avoid others against receiving the money more once and ensure every student is smiling," Ongwae said.

The area MCA Mainya Kennedy who also graced the event supported the governor plans saying it is long overdue since majority who have been benefiting are in one or another gaining their way through because of politics and call for quick review of the regulation governing the funds in ensuring that justice served to all deserving party.
