Speaking on Friday in Garissa Town, Dubow said that the county government under the leadership of Ali Korane has put in place measures to ensure that the residents get clean water without going through much hassle over the same.He also said that the Garissa Water and Sewerage Company is on course solve the issue on the ground once and for all. There are speculations that the county government is likely to oversee changes in the company’s top management in a bid to end the crisis, which has affected different parts of the county over years. The water executive said that he will make major changes to ensure that the challenge of water shortage in the county is mitigated. He revealed that the county government has intentions of opening four zonal offices in Waberi, Iftin, Galbet and Garissa Township.
