Newly sworn-in Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee member in charge of Devolution, Barnabas Tanui has appreciated Governor Jackson Mandago for his appointment. Speaking during an introductory meeting with chief officers, directors and other section heads on Wednesday, Tarus also thanked everyone for the warm welcome he was accorded in the department as well as the County Government of Uasin Gishu in general.“Let me take this opportunity to thank governor Jackson Mandago for in his own wisdom has seen it fit to remove me from the classroom after 22 years to come to a completely different classroom where I have to learn the ropes,” said Tanui.He also emphasized on the need for the Devolution, Administration and Public Service Management department to work with the other departments so as to achieve their mandate as a county government more efficient.
