Kiambu County gubernatorial aspirant, David Ngari alias Gakuyo, who just dropped his bid in favour of Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu was embroiled in a bitter war of words with celebrated radio personality Njogu Wa Njoroge.

Njogu said Gakuyo is attacking him after he exposed the businessman-cum-Bishop as a conman hellbent on fleecing poor Kenyans their hard-earned cash through a sacco known as Ekeza Sacco, to achieve 'selfish political goals'.

"Gakuyo I stood with you and even endorsed you. But the minute uliingia siasa, ukachukua pesa za Ekeza Sacco ukapeleka kule, thats when i parted ways with you. I know your staffers/hirings are out here kunitukana, but you will never change the facts. Ekeza is going down...down...downnnnnnnnn," wrote Njogu on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

He added: "And this is why this man is all over ranting about Njogu wa Njoroge. The massive withdrawals from Ekeza SACCO has sent a panic to the rogue Bishop. This is because they don't trust a politician with their money. And if you go you are told to wait for 3 months. After 3 months hakuna pesa. But wale wanaitisha na fujo kuna kidogo wanapewa.

If you have your money in Ekeza , rush and get your money back ! Don't be told to wait for 6 months. And I know what I'm talking about! You will thank me later."

Njogu also accused Gakuyo of selling non-existent land to poor and gullible people through massive media campaigns

"Gakuyo you took money from househelps and people of low income. You never gave them land. You steal from the poor. You promised that by March 2017, all people who paid 20k and 10k should come for keys to their new homes. You said it on air. Now stop the sideshows. Where are the houses? You lie with a straight face. You call yourself a Bishop. You are a disgrace to Christianity. But anyway what do you expect from an illiterate who tries to forge a degree from a reputable institution?" Njogu wrote.

However, Gakuyo was defended by some of Njogu followers who accused him of being paid by Gakuyo detractors to malign him and eventually bring his business down.

"Njogu are you sure you are not being used by Kabogo to spoil Gakuyo's name? If so, just know in this world what comes around goes around. Just tread this carefully," wrote Salome Wangari.

Another follower Julius Wachira said, "I never knew Njogu is such. Simply because Gakuyo refused to follow you in your new station and transact his businesses there, you decided to create enmity .Kenyans don't be deceived Gakuyo real estate is firm and strong and isn't collapsing."

The authenticity of these claims could however, not be verified by the time of going to press.
