Celebrations as MP delivers school bus

There were celebrations at Tom Mboya Cerebral Palsy school in Mvita, after area MP Abdulsawamad Shariff Nassir handed them a school bus.

He had pledged to purchase a school bus for them to aid in their transportation.

"A big chunk of the funding for the bus came from the NG-MVITA CDF kitty which was complemented by Private Donors and The Shariff Nassir Foundation," the MP said on Monday as he flagged off the bus for a test drive.

Later on during the day, Nassir had a fun afternoon-out together with the kids at Nyali Beach to celebrate with them.

 "I thank the volunteers who joined us and special thanks to Mombasa Maize Millers Ltd for sponsoring and facilitating the day's outing in totality," he said.
