There was joy and celebrations at the Moi Girls High School in Eldoret town following the release of this year's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
This is after two of the top ten candidates nationally came from the school which located few minutes from the Eldoret town CBD.
The two are Sharon Chepchumba who was ranked second best countrywide and Sheryl Wahome who was placed at number 9.
The teachers who were at the school when the results was released burst in songs and dances as they celebrated their sterling performance.
Led by the Loise Karonei, Deputy Principle Administration, the teachers credited good results posted to their trust in God and hard.
"We knew all the 289 candidates would perform well because they were hardworking and disciplined," said Karonei.
