Various Kenyan celebrities will team up on Saturday for a fundraising to clear media personality Njambi Koikai hospital bill who is suffering from Thoracic Endometrium.
Gilad, Avril, Dela, Shafie Weru, Kagwe and Sauti Sol among others will all perform at Alchemist grounds in Westlands, Nairobi on Saturday from 5pm to dawn in a show that will charge 1000/= entrance fee in an attempt to help raise 10 million shillings which will help clear Njambis medical bill.
Njambi who had revealed she had already performed 10 surgeries on her body is looking to rise back on her feet from the illness which she claims makes her lungs collapse even when she attends her monthly periods.
Endometrium is a medical condition where the lining of the uterus known as the endometrium grows in other places such as fallopian tube, the intestines, and the colon and sometimes in lungs and brain.
“Do not take advantage of my situation. I have been suffering for long. I have exhausted my family resources curing this illness and I am now remaining with this major surgery which will cost me about 10 million shillings,” said Njambi on social media.
Njambi was responding after a lady identified as Nanjala Nyongesa impersonated her to benefit from contributions to her name.
