“I have fifteen tattoos. Of course, I cannot highlight all of them but I have a dark angel with wings inked on my left arm. It highlights how people differ in character. I also have headphones tattooed on my chest, a tribute to my love for music. I paid out approximately Sh160,000 for my body art.”

The controversial radio personality has two full sleeves of tattoos on both arms. “They are a symbolic part of my life that portray love and pain. Once I am out of a relationship, I add a tattoo.”

Pendo

Stacey Pendo, a cast member of Nairobi Diaries, has thirteen tattoos on different parts of her body. One of her striking pieces is the finger tattoo, a US dollar, and infinity sign. Both tattoos speak solitude, which Pendo says are self-explanatory. She has a cross inked on her arm denoting her temperament. “If you are keen enough, you will notice the various sides of the tattoo.”

Kenchez Muya (Hart The Band)

Kenchez Muya, of sensational boy-group H-art The Band, got his first arm tattoo after high school, illustrating guitar notes. He says, “I had no idea I would be a musician after my secondary studies.” loved music, that’s why I got it.”

Bamboo

“I have five tattoos on both arms; with my name inscribed on the left and the map of Africa on the right. On my forearm is a tattoo of Los Angles signifying my old blood. I would, however, not advise anybody to get tattoos even though I have them. Their meaning is in my past now and I ‘m not getting any more.”

Huddah Monroe

Un-orthodox as she is, it would be a shocker if she didn’t have ink. Hers are small and detailed. One recent piece stands out with the words “a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.” She has seven visible tattoos.

Earlier, the Dabotap singer claimed he would never have a tattoo. He explained they should be meaningful and memorable. “If I was to get one, I would probably like a portrait of my grandmother or daughter.”
