Nairobi woman representative Rachael Shebesh has said central Kenya will fully back Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.
Shebesh pointed out that if it were not for Ruto, Uhuru would not have been president and for that reason they owe him all the respect and will support him in 2022.
“If it were not for William Ruto, Uhuru Kenyatta would not have been the president and for that reason we respect Ruto and central Kenya will back him up 2022,” said Shebesh who spoke in , Marigat, Baringo County.
She added that claims that central Kenya will not support the Deputy President in 2022 are baseless.
She said it would be like a curse to abandon Ruto and going against the deal they had agreed on Uhuru’s two-term presidential bid and then supporting him in 2022.
“It will be bad for us especially from the people who voted Jubilee in if we forsake him in 2022,” said the woman rep.
