Similar reports show that three executive directors of Equity Group, including the CEO, James Mwangi, earned average monthly pay of Sh15.9 million each in the year ended December 2015.
Two executive directors at British American Tobacco Kenya CEO Keith Gretton and CFO Philip Lopokoiyit earned an average of Sh13.2 million each monthly compensation in the year ended December 2015.
Fourth on the list of top earners are Safaricom’s CEO Bob Collymore and former chief financial officer John Tombleson, they were paid an average monthly salary of Sh10.7 million in the year ended March.
Kenya Breweries Limited Managing director Jane Karuku and the firm’s two former executives Charles Ireland (former CEO) and Tracey Barnes (former CFO) took home an average monthly pay of Sh7.2 million in the year ended June 2015
Kenya Commercial Bank CEO Joshua Oigara and CFO, Lawrence Kimathi, took home an average monthly compensation of Sh6.3 million each in the year ended December 2015.
