Speaking at Nyamaiya ward during the donation of a Sh100,000 tent for Marara CBO, Mrs Chae challenged residents to seek help from a group level rather than as individuals.

She also reiterated her remarks towards ensuring fair distribution of bursaries to children from needy backgrounds.

“I want to challenge the community that my office can only be able to help people in a certified group. We don’t help all individuals and that is why it’s vital that you form groups to get the best out of my office,” she added.

“The Marara CBO has benefited with this tent because it has shown its objectives on social-economic development and that is why it’s my plea that you form groups too,” she added, revealing that her office had also subjected over 140 students to bursary scheme worth Sh1.8 million.

Mrs Chae also seized the occasion to deliver sanitary towels to girls and boxers to boys to Marara DEB as party of the ongoing sanitary towels distribution urging teachers to allocate the donation to deserving children.

“I have also donated the sanitary towels to our girls and boxes to boys. My wish is that only deserving cases should be awarded,” she said.
