The boys were taken to Keroka police station for further interrogation before being released following a request from the respective schools administrations.

And on Tuesday, Mrs Chae decried the incident and challenged school administrators to be more vigilant to prevent such cases in future.

“I am perplexed following the information I received about male students sneaking into a girl’s school yet we have regulations. It’s a very unfortunate incident that should never happen again,” she said.

“I want to challenge school administrators across the county to be more vigilant by giving our students proper guidance so that we can promote good morals in our institutions,” she added.

She promised to roll out a series of guidance and counseling, career talks and mentorship programmes in the coming weeks to interact with students from all institutions in the area in a bid ti instill good morals.

“These children might have engaged in the uncouth conduct because of peer pressure and alcoholism and as your leader, I will roll out guidance and counseling, career talks and other mentorship programmes to teach them good morals,” she said.
