Nyamira woman representative Alice Chae insists that she will defend her seat in the 2017 elections.
Chae said her re-election will help her continue with the projects of helping women, youths and people living with disabilities (PLWD) to improve their lives.
“Since I was elected, I have initiated several projects such as helping women, youths through the Affirmative Action Fund kitty and I promise to do more in this county,” said Chae.
"I will defend my seat in 2017 and I urge county residents to vote for me the way you did in the 2013 elections to complete the projects that I have initiated in this county ,”she added.
Chae further urged orphan students to visit her office in Nyamira town and register, promising to award them bursaries come next year.
She made the remarks at Riomoro in Manga where she urged residents to embrace unity and elect leaders who will foster development.
