National carrier Kenya Airways is pushing through changes ahead of its maiden direct flight to the United States.A number of its leased planes are in the process of being recalled to meet the demand of the direct flights.Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia revealed that KQ counters were being set up in the John F Kennedy Airport.The direct flights have attracted a great deal of excitement of customers.''There is huge excitement from KQ customers because of this. Counters are being set up at the JFK Airport ahead of the direct flights to the U.S,'' Cabinet Secretary James Macharia said.
