Addressing journalists at her office in Thika on Monday, Chania said some people were keen to frustrate her political career.

“Some people are keen to frustrate my work and also my political ambitions but I will not be swayed by their antics,” said Chania.

Chania who is also the  Kiambu TNA coordinator denied claims of misappropriating the party's funds in Kiambu.

She said that those spreading the allegations only want to soil her name.

“I will not be moved by critiques who only want to tarnish my name,” she added.

Chania stated that her enemies were envious of the work she has been doing in Kiambu County in regards to youth empowerment.

Last week, Chania was interdicted as the County TNA coordinator.

Kiambu TNA secretary General Solomon Ndung’u announced to the media that Chania had been relieved of her duties as the county TNA coordinator.

Mr Ndung’u cited misconduct and misappropriation of party funds as the key reasons behind the sacking of Chania.

However, Chania says that the allegations against her are baseless and maintained that she is still the Kiambu TNA coordinator.
