Chaos has erupted during the Maragoli Cultural Festival in Vihiga County following the entry Water CS Eugene Wamalwa.

Irate youths chanted anti-Jubilee slogans demanding that Wamalwa leaves the function.

The situation degenerated into chaos and mayhem as another group emerged and clashed with the anti-Wamalwa faction.

Police were forced to shoot in the air so as to calm the situation.

Other revellers scampered for safety.
