[Photo/Busia County Government]St Austin's Kingandole Girls are in high spirits ahead of the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom Western Region finals to be staged at the Kanduyi Stadium in Bungoma County on February 3rd and 4th, 2018.Kingandole Queens are among four teams that will take part in the finals of the ladies category, with the winners proceeding to the national finals in Nairobi in March, 2018.Western region of the Football Kenya Federation will be represented by Kingandole and Shinyalu Youth Academy while Chelebei and Bishop Njenga Girls will represent North Western branch.Speaking during training at the school, Kingandole head coach Lawrence Akula said they are ready to bring glory to Busia County by qualifying for the finals in Nairobi."Qualifying for the regional finals was no mean an achievement. Our focus now is to beat former national secondary schools champions Bishop Njenga and regular campaigners Chelebei to win the regional title before repeating the feat at the national finals," he said.He said they have never looked back, reducing Bishop Sulumeti who used to dominate the game in the County to shreds. The school Deputy Principal Yournina Oguba the day school with 800 students has proved a force to reckon with in sports and academic, sending 10 students to University.
