Drama was witnessed on Monday morning at Ribururu area in Kitale Kisii after a man got stuck to his mpango wa kando while on the act.
The incident attracted a crowd that rushed to the scene to witness what had happened.
Mr Vincent Riruma a local said that the news spread like fire around the town which saw a big crowd build around the hotel.
"After we heard of the incident we rushed to the hotel but we were not allowed to enter by the management," he said.
He narrated how police arrived at the scene and people forced their way into the hotel.
The lovers were then carried to a waiting police van before it left.
However, minutes later the wife of the man arrived at the hotel shouting loudly.
"I knew it that my husband and the woman who is our landlord were having an affair and today I have embarrassed him," she said.
According to her she sought the help of a witch doctor who helped her get the two lovers stuck.
The landlady contacted by Hivisasa said that she would not stop having the affair with the man as they were even planning to wed.
"I am ready to be his second wife because I love him," said the lady whose husband died two years ago.
Elders in Kitale said that they will take action against the man as she had not informed his wife that he was planning to marry a second wife.
"We shall take action against the man because he is now takingadvantage of his wife who is a peasant farmer," said Brian Audi the elders chairman.
