Baringo County Governor Benjamin Cheboi has asked his rivals to exit the gubernatorial race and support him in 2017.
He aasured that if they support him in 2017, he will do the same in 2022 since he will not be seeking re-election.
The Jubilee party governor said he was seeking a second term to enable him complete the projects he initiated across the County.
“I will not go for a third term. So why not wait until I surrender the seat to you after my next term?” Cheboi said.
He further warned his opponents against spreading propaganda about his leadership in the county.
Cheboi was speaking at a fund raiser at Kapkokwon Primary School, Saturday.
