The talks between Jubilee, NASA, IEBC regarding the October 26 repeat polls have yet again collapsed at the Bomas of Kenya.
This comes a day after the Wednesday meeting at Anniversary Towers failed to bear fruit even as the nations draw to less than a month to the repeat polls.
According to NASA, the amendment of electoral process Bill that has been tabled on the floor of the house by Jubilee must be pushed out before they can hold talks.
"You cannot bring new rules at halftime, Jubilee is trying to bring changes through parliament, yet this was not the recommendation of the Supreme Court ruling,: said NASA CEO Norman Magaya.
A reliable source said the meeting talks could not continue after NASA's walkout despite Jubilee's calls to have the talks proceed without NASA in attendance.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has, however, seemingly sided with NASA on the electoral amendment Bill tabled in parliament.
"We don't need new laws for the October 26 presidential polls. The Supreme Court didn't fault existing laws in its ruling," said Chebukati.
The electoral amendments tabled by Jubilee seeks to give way for a manual backup in case the electronic transmission fails.
