The IEBC has postponed a meeting earlier planned between the presidential candidates due to unknown reasons.
"Today's 2.30pm meeting with presidential candidates has regrettably been rescheduled. We will update," IEBC said via Twitter on Thursday.
The commission communicated that they will set another date after they reach an agreement with all parties.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga were among candidates supposed to meet the commission's chairman Wafula Chebukati to dialogue prior to the October 26 vote.
Chebukati on Wednesday invited all the seven presidential candidates and their running mates for an urgent meeting.
They also included Thirdway Alliance's Ekuru Aukot, Japheth Kaluyu, Michael Wainaina, Abduba Dida and Joe Nyagah.
