IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has condemned police brutality on NASA supporters who are staging demos against the electoral body.
Speaking on Wednesday during a press briefing on election preparedness, Mr Chebukati discouraged the anti-riot police against using excessive force while dispersing the protesters.In his statement, he maintained that the repeat presidential poll shall proceed as planned on Thursday despite the constant calls for postponement.However, Chebukati hinted that in the event that there is no voting at some polling stations, he shall arrange to conduct the election at a different date as mandated by the constitution.The briefing comes moments after the supreme court adjourned a case filed seeking the repeat presidential poll to be postponed.
