IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati has given the latest update on the repeat presidential polls results.

Speaking from Bomas of Kenya, Chebukati said that of the 40, 883 polling stations 35, 564 polling stations opened for voting early in the morning.

Chebukati said that 5,319 polling stations did not send an opening message meaning voting did not take place or they are experiencing network issues.

Chebukati further stated that the commission has so far received 27,124 forms 34A from the expected 35, 564 and estimated the voter to be 48% as at 5 pm.
