The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced a new plan for NASA and Jubilee ahead of October 17 repeat presidential elections.
In a statement, IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati said that the commission had reached out to both NASA and Jubilee for a joint meeting next week.
During the meeting, all concerns related to the next poll will be addressed.
The electoral body on Friday stated: "The Commission has reached out to both NASA and Jubilee for a joint meeting next week on poll preparations to update and address concerns.”
NASA’s concerns will be top of the job agenda since the coalition has announced that it will not take part in the polls unless their demands are reached.
NASA wants CEO Ezra Chiloba to be kicked out of IEBC before taking part in the polls.
The coalition has maintained that Chiloba was responsible for the mismanagement of the last presidential elections.
Already, Chebukati has been appointed to lead the next presidential polls.
