IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati has sent a strong warning to people who may want to hack the commission's electoral system.

Chebukati said the commission has employed a strong tech team to ensure the servers are not hacked. 

"Anybody found interfering with the server will be dealt with and will face the full force of the law," the chairman said.

He reached out to Kenyans to be actively involved in the election process.

"We ask Kenyans not to stand aside and observe, but participate to enjoy their democracy."
