The National Super Alliance has been assured of a free credible election on October 17.
IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati has assured NASA that there will be transparency in the repeat polls.
"I wish to assure you of full transparency in the planning and operations of the fresh presidential election [and] intend to hold weekly briefings with the presidential candidates and agents to discuss emerging issues," he said in a letter to coalition co-principal Musalia Mudavadi.
This is after Mudavadi wrote to IEBC demanding the removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, a review of the KIEMS kit before the repeat elections.
"I also intend to conduct a full audit of the servers guided by the previous orders of the Supreme Court. This process will be transparent with international experts and representatives from Jubilee and NASA," Chebukati said.
Chebukati had formed a provisional team to look oversee the polls, but Jubilee has since rejected the team.
In the letter, Mudavadi had asked IEBC to look into the voter registration and polling stations.
"Given the short period of time before the fresh election, I urge you to review the Gazette polling stations and compare them with the polling stations whose results we have on forms 34A and if there any discrepancies, this could be addressed,” said Mudavadi.
