IEBC Wafula Chebukati has addressed calls to have him resign.
The chair has maintained that he will not resign despite challenges concerning the repeat presidential polls slated for October 26.
Speaking on Saturday, Chebukati said that the commission is intact despite reports of divisions among commissioners.
"There may be differences of opinion but the commission is united and committed to deliver a credible, free and fair elections," he said.
He was speaking in Eldoret during a training for election officials.
The chair is set to visit six training centres in Rift Valley and Western regions.
On claims that he walked out of a meeting with IEBC commissioners, Chebukati said that the reports are false since the meeting ended smoothly without any hitches.
His sentiments come amid calls by the opposition to changes at the commission before the polls.
NASA has resolved to hold daily protests to push the course.
