It has emerged that embattled IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba office locks have been changed.
According to Citizen Tv, Chiloba may not access his office at Anniversary Towers even if he returns.
On Thursday, a Nairobi court ordered that Chiloba should report back to work only for chairman Wafula Chebukati to suspend him again.
Reports indicate that Chiloba has been preparing to resume duty next week after the Employment and Labour Relations Court ruled on Thursday, that he returns to work pending the hearing and determination of a case he filed against the chairman and the commission.
He had challenged his being sent on compulsory leave by three commissioners. Chiloba has maintained that he will resume work despite Chebukati's new orders.
Sources at IEBC confirmed that the locks to his office door have been changed and keys secured. Additional, Chiloba might not have the support staff since all officers attached to his office have sent on leave.
A secretary and a personal assistant suspected to have been leaking information to their boss on the progress of investigations and plans being taken.
A source at IEBC indicate that Chebukati alongside Commissioners Boya Molu and Professor Abdi Guliye have resolved that Chiloba must go.
