Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati has told off Deputy President William Ruto over claims that he has been having night meetings.
In an interview with Citizen TV on Sunday, the DP claimed that the electoral commission chairman has been having night meetings with their competitors, NASA.
"Chebukati must stop this monkey businesses and night meetings with our competitors and know there will be an election on 17 th October," Ruto said.
The embattled chairman rubbished the claims terming them 'rumours and reckless'.
"Rumours regarding my so called night meetings with NASA are baseless and reckless," he tweeted.
