[Photo|PSCU]IEBC has indicated that it will tonight (Sunday) issue an update on whether President Uhuru Kenyatta can be declared president elect before voting is done in four Nyanza counties.Chairman Wafula Chebukati said this following a question from a journalist during his update on the ongoing vote tallying at the Bomas of Kenya, the National Tallying Centre. He indicated that since Kenyatta is the candidate who is leading in the fresh presidential election, the Commission is having talks to deliberate on whether he can be declared the winner, even before voting is done in the four counties.IEBC postponed elections in Homa Bay, Migori, Kisumu, and Siaya counties citing insecurity concerns, with residents saying they do not want to vote.Elections day in the four counties is yet to be scheduled a move that has raised concerns even as Uhuru continues to lead his rivals with over 7.3 million votes.Speaking Sunday slightly before 7 pm, Chebukati said the Commission would give the way forward over the issue at around 8:30 pm.
