Murang'a County Women Representative Sabina Wanjiru Chege has condemned the disruption of repeat election in some parts of the country.

On Thursday, there was outbreak of violence in a number of constituencies forcing the IEBC to reschedule polls after voting failed to take place.

Addressing journalists at the Blue Posts Hotel, Chege warned that the country would suffer due to prolonged campaigns.

"Denying someone his or her right to vote is against the law. We have been engaged in politics and campaigning since last year and the campaigns are tiring," she said.

The second-time lawmaker warned the Raila Odinga Opposition against subjecting the country to further demonstrations and violence, saying Kenyans are tired of unending politics.

"Businesses have suffered and Kenyans want to begin looking for their children's school fees. That is why we need to get the Government moving so that our economy can be where it should be. We want to make free secondary school programme a reality as we promised," she said, as quoted by the Nation.
