Nominated Senator Liza Chelule has called on leaders in Nakuru County to unite and shun divisive politics.
Speaking on Sunday during a fundraiser in Pombo area, Keringet sub-county in aid of the African Gospel Church, Chelule urged leaders to unite and work hand in hand in order to deliver to those who elected them.
"As leaders, we should consider the economy of Nakuru County first before engaging in divisive politics".
She further condemned leaders from other regions for meddling with the county's affairs saying that Governor Kinuthia Mbugua is an able leader.
"Leaders moving around the county criticising Mbugua's government should be condemned. Our governor is an able leader serving the people at his best,” she said.
Chelule also called upon the faithful to continue praying for Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua arap Sang who are facing cases at the International Criminal Court.
The fundraiser was attended by Mbugua, his deputy Joseph Ruto among other leaders
