Nakuru county Women Representative Liza Chelule has sent a congratulatory letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto after the Supreme court validated their October 26 re-election.
In a tweet moments after the ruling Monday, Chelule who hailed the court for the verdict termed the outcome as a victory to not only the Jubilee side of the political divide but the entire nation.
She further said that it is a good opportunity for the President and his deputy William Ruto to carry on with their constitutional mandate as they strive to deliver the Jubilee agenda for the nation.
''Its been a long journey, we have gone through hard times as a country but today we reclaim our victory.I congratulate my party leader president-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for surviving the test of all times,'' she said.
''May you take this country forward,'' she added.
