Uasin Gishu County Deputy Governor, Daniel Chemno, has condemned the Bomet Governor, Isaac Rutto, for forming Mashinani Party.
He termed this move as out of order, ill intended and a betrayal to the party that brought him in office. Speaking in his office on Wednesday, Chemno said the move is to divide Kalenjin votes so that Jubilee party does not emerge winners in the fourth coming elections.
"I am reading malice in the formation of the Mashinani party. Rutto is being used by the opposition to cripple Jubilee party in the deputy president stronghold and as staunch supporters of the party won't allow him to make us irrelevant," he said.
Chemno told the governor to get ready for a tight race in the 2017 general elections.
He called upon all Kenyans to embrace the Jubilee party since it has a national look that brings on board all tribes aims at uniting all Kenyans.
